Fine Art is an ongoing skill which can be acquired if the appropriate amount of time is taken to develop, I have been painting for well over thirty years and still learn new ways of creating art each day.

Artists use many techniques to create art they don't all use drawings which are built up with paint to create the portrait, one of my early introductions to portrait painting consisted of watching an artist prepare a canvas by projecting an image onto it, this technique is very useful and is used by many artists including myself, it helps develop your perspective used when considering the layout of a piece of artwork.
